What data we process #
When you visit the site #
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and delivered through Cloudflare. To display the site and protect it from abuse, they receive technically necessary data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you visit. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Statistics and marketing – only with your consent #
If you accept cookies, we load Google Tag Manager. Through it we may use:
- Google Analytics to understand how the site is used – for example which pages are read and where visitors come from.
- Google Ads and similar tools to measure and target ads, if you have accepted marketing.
The data includes a pseudonymous user ID, your IP address (truncated by Google), page views, device and browser. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). If you decline, Google Tag Manager is not loaded at all.
When you email or call us #
If you contact us, we process the information you provide in order to reply and, where relevant, deliver a course, workshop or other service (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Cookies #
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use the following:

Necessary cookies are always set. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Recipients and transfers outside the EU #
We use these data processors:
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads) – only with your consent
- GitHub Inc. (hosting)
- Cloudflare Inc. (delivery and security)
Some data may be transferred to the United States. All three companies are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found to provide an adequate level of protection.
We never sell your data.
How long we keep data #
- Statistics data in Google Analytics is kept for no more than 14 months.
- Correspondence is kept as long as needed to reply or deliver a service, and afterwards as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires.
Your rights #
You have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you
- have incorrect data rectified
- have data erased
- restrict processing
- object to processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent – this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
